DYNACON, Inc. was formed in 1986 and specializes in the custom design and manufacture
of winches and handling systems in support of surface or subsea activities for diverse applications
within the ocean industry. There are currently more than 80 people employed at our Bryan, Texas location.
The completed expansion of our facilities in the year 2000 more than doubled both our office space and our manufacturing space.

Dynacon expands manufacturing facility in 2005
DYNACON, Inc. has further expanded its manufacturing facility in 2005 with the addition of a 17,600 square foot building, testing and storage areas, and 8 acres of land deemed for future plant expansion.

Product Line
Our product line features winches, umbilical handling systems, levelwinds, remote operated vehicle (ROV) launch/recovery systems, cable engines, overboarding sheaves, hydraulic power systems, and other related products. We recently added a service department for care and maintenance of cables and field repair of equipment.
Design & Manufacturing Capabilities
DYNACON, Inc. has designed and built winches and handling systems ranging from D.C. electric drive drum winches for oceanographic applications to electro-hydraulic and diesel-hydraulic traction winch systems with motion compensated cranes for deep water operations. DYNACON, Inc. winches and handling systems can be designed and built to meet certification requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Lloyd's Registry of Shipping, the U.S. Coast Guard, or other certifying agencies. All aspects of the production process including design, fabrication, assembly, and testing are accomplished at our Bryan, Texas facility.
